Getting into it

Been playing EVE online now for a few days, and finally starting to get into it. I've just finished the basic tutorials, and moving onto the more advance ones. Deciding to try my hand at mineral/asteroid mining. Then maybe go into more of a distribution style career.

I can see the appeal now, it's SO huge, and SO open. There's a few set pre-game missions that you take on to learn, but post that, everyone is out for themselves. They'll pay you to fight their wars, mine their ore, distribute their goods, sell their crap etc. It's very much a climb the ranks style game. With rewards offered for time and commitment, as well as knowledge - when to buy what, and sell.

Still unsure if I'll continue to play after the trial. We'll see I suppose.

The New Kind trailer on youtube has had loads of views, a few good comments and is getting well received generally. I'm seeing exciting things happening over the next few months with that, in terms of making it bigger and better (and maybe even paid).

Stay tuned.
