Morrison could probably say that to any girl (or guy) and they'd drop their pants and beg for it.
Anyway, I've got good news and bad news. I'll start with the bad news.
The place I was supposed to be working at (cafe/bar) has been unable to get its liquor licence (YET) and therefor will struggle to stay in business during the highly important first few weeks. So I've basically been told to expect the worst. Not get any shifts etc etc. Le Sigh. Why always me? Why can't I just get a smooth run? That would be nice. 'Hey Joe, here's a job, loads of cash, oh and want to date my daughter? She's a 21 year old hand model'. Hands are attractive okay?!
That being said I've been very understanding and friendly towards the guy (who's also a great guy who I don't want to see fail), so things aren't completely over. But just a shame they aren't working out as first planned.
The good news is it looks as if I'll be taking on more a higher up role at Ronin Film! In today's meeting lead CG Dan was saying something like "I'm sort of looking for someone to step up and take more of a leadership position, as I certainly won't be able to handle it all on my own... and I know you all probably already know who it is" - At this stage I was thinking, 'Oh probably Alphonzo or Bryant.. those guys kick ass'. But then he was like "Joe Toole". So I'm pretty stoked at essentially being given the role of lead animator. And I'm certainly excited to be a part of this project going forward, things could be extremely busy for the next few months.
I've also been animating my own stuff. Just to keep busy and get better etc etc.
I'll post it when I can be bothered uploading to youtube. Probably when it's finished.
I've nearly given up on EVE. I'm going to boot it up once more after this post, to see if I can enjoy it. I also got Beta access to Dust 541 but wasn't allowed in because IGN's Beta time was up or some rubbish. So they've pulled the 'free' fps away from me before I even had a chance to play it. Great job guys. I hate you. If all that fails I'm going to have to play something else. I was thinking either Portal 2, or The Witcher 2.
Maybe I should start reviewing things. Movies, games and or TV. I'd like to get into drawing little cartoons for this blog too. Maybe they could go with the reviews. Maybe maybe.
